Transitions

Transition from the first to the second year: in order to register for the second year students must have obtained at least 2 exams of the first year. Student must not considere Scientific writing as an exam usefull when enrolling to the following years since it is a pass/fail exam and Clinical practice I.

Transition from the second to the third year: to register for the third year students must have passe all first year exams (including Scientific writing) and must present a B1 certificate for Italian language.

Transition from third to fourth year: to register for the fourth year students must have passed all exams of the first two years and one exam of the third.

Transition from fourth to fifth year: to register for the fifth year students must have passed all exams of the third except Sistematic Pathology 1.

Transition from the fifth to the sixth year: to register for the sixth year students must have passed all exams of the first three years and four exams of the fourth year including Anatomic Pathology and Pharmacology exams.

A student who has not obtained a certificate of attendance at courses specified in the study plan for a specific year of study or who has not acquired the minimum number of credits required for enrolment in the subsequent year, becomes a “ripetente” i.e. a student who repeats the year (paying againf full fee).

Important notes

To take Biochemistry exam, Chemistry and Introductory biochemistry exam must have been passed.

To take Human anatomy II, Istology and Embriology exam must have been passed.

To take Physiology, Biology and Genetics exam must have been passed.
