The University of Rome Tor Vergata has announced the call for applications to transfer into years beyond the first for the Medicine and Surgery program taught in English for the academic year 2024/2025. This opportunity is available for eligible students who meet the academic and administrative requirements.

Available Positions

  • Year 4: 7 spots for Italian, EU, and legally resident non-EU students.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

  1. Be enrolled in a Medicine and Surgery program (new regulation D.M. 270/04) in another Italian or international university.
  2. Be a graduate of an Italian or foreign university applying for course abbreviation.
  3. Provide valid documentation demonstrating curricular equivalency and academic performance.

Note: Applications from students in the final year of their current program or those repeating or exceeding the standard study time will not be considered.


Application Process

Applications are open from November 11, 2024, to November 21, 2024, and must be completed online via Delphi Portal.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Log in to the Delphi Portal.
  2. Select Student Area > Verification of Curricular Requirements.
  3. Fill out the application for the English-taught Medicine and Surgery program.
  4. Upload the required documents in PDF format:
    • Academic transcript (detailed course data, credits, and grades).
    • Course syllabi on official university letterhead.
    • Study plan from your current university.
  5. Print and save the CTRL code for future access to your application.
  6. Pay the €100 evaluation fee via the PagoPA system. Ensure payment validation within 48 hours.

Evaluation and Selection Criteria

A committee will review applications based on:

  1. Equivalence of completed courses, credits, and internships.
  2. Performance (grade average and credits earned relative to years of enrollment).
  3. Language proficiency (if transferring from a non-English program).

If the number of eligible candidates exceeds available positions, a merit-based ranking will be used.


Important Deadlines

  • Application Period: November 11–21, 2024.
  • Results Publication: By December 20, 2024, on the official site.
  • Enrollment Finalization: January 9–16, 2025.

  • Ensure all documentation is original and compliant with specified guidelines.
  • Late payments or incomplete applications will result in disqualification.
  • Vaccination compliance (tuberculin test and Hepatitis B) is mandatory after enrollment.
