We’re proud to highlight an incredible achievement by our 6th-year medical students from the English-language Medicine and Surgery program at the University of Tor Vergata, who recently completed an intensive ACCLS (Advanced Cardiac and Cerebral Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) training course.

Over the course of three days, our students immersed themselves in realistic emergency simulations, strengthening both their technical skills and team dynamics in high-stress medical situations.

🚑 What the course covered:

  • High-quality CPR techniques and AED usage
  • Recognition and initial treatment of cardiac and cerebrovascular emergencies
  • Basic and advanced airway management
  • Team-based emergency response and decision-making

With energy, focus, and curiosity, our students worked in groups to tackle complex scenarios, demonstrating strong clinical reasoning and readiness for real-life critical care settings.

This hands-on experience was made possible under the guidance of an outstanding team of instructors from Salvamento Academy

This experience reinforces our belief that medicine is learned not just in books, but in action.
